Dr. Shrey Dhawan was wise enough to use his lengthy days in COVID quarantine to create something that will make a positive impact on patients’ dental health. He developed a smart diagnostic app for children called Cavity Meter which can predict a child’s oral health status up to 20 years ahead of time based on their eating and oral care habits. This simple calculator can also advise constructive steps to reduce the risk of cavities. After answering all questions, users receive a detailed report which is sent to their email or WhatsApp free of charge.
In the upcoming weeks, Dentacare App and Jaws of Battle game will be integrated in Dr. Shrey Dhawan’s Cavity Meter. Thus, children and their parents will be able to enjoy the synergy effects of all apps in a more interactive way.
Furthermore, Dentacoin can also be used as a means of payment in Dr. Dhawan’s pharmacy which is located in one of the Aashray Green Dental Clinics.
About The Founders
Educated at one of India’s top-ranked educational institutes, Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Dr. Shrey Dhawan and Shamindhi Dhawan speak over 10 languages altogether and have attended patients from more than 50 countries. They practice dentistry at international standards while maintaining high-level infection control protocols.
Dr. Shrey Dhawan is a Root Canal Specialist, MDS in Endodontics, Conservative and Cosmetic Dentistry, and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Laser Dentistry (IALD). He is also specialized in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Shamindhi Dhawan is Implantologist, BDS, SLMC (Rank 1). She holds a Postgraduate Diploma from the American Academy of Implantology and Diploma in Facial Cosmetology (ILAMED).
