Following thorough discussions about the potential impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on large-scale events, Dentacoin has decided to withdraw its participation in IDS 2021 in Cologne, Germany that was to be held between the 9th and 13th of March 2021.

The decision comes after examining the possible restrictions that will be in place in order to prevent the spread of the disease in the location which will certainly prove to be a limiting factor. Less proximity and smaller crowds will negatively impact the opportunity to present our solutions to the audience present there and thus the effect of the event will lose its significance.

Moreover, travel conditions we and many potential visitors may face on their way to IDS will certainly be a negative factor. Those will also hinder our advance planning of marketing materials and meetings, resulting in possibly wasted costs.

Numerous of the leading providers in the industry have already announced that they will not exhibit at IDS for the same reasons.

We are putting the safety of our staff and customers first when making this decision and are enthusiastically expecting the next International Dental Show when the situation goes back to normal. Meanwhile, we will be closely following the developments on the global dental scene and as soon as the needed safety and attendance can be guaranteed at another important industry event, we will consider participating.

Should the risk factor subside, we will be happy to send a few representatives as visitors, in order to participate in crucial meetings.
